BESSIE  PEPPERS  GOODWIN  HESTER,  age 102, of LaFayette passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017.

She was born on July 3, 1915 to the late Tom and Daisy Perry Peppers and is a member of the LaFayette Church of Christ.

Bessie was preceded in death by her first husband Charlie Goodwin; sisters, Lena Ruth Peppers and Margaret Peppers; brothers, Charles Peppers and Robert (Pep) Peppers.

Survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A special thanks to the staff of Pruitt Health at Shepherd Hills for their many years of care.

A graveside service  Wednesday, November 1stat 3:00 p.m. in the LaFayette City Cemetery with Minister David Paden officiating.

Mary L. Burnside Moser, age 99, of LaFayette passed away Monday, November 6, 2017.


Mary was born Mary Lecusi on January 28, 1918 in Ogden, Utah.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and sister, her husband Eugene Clinton Burnside and grandchildren Ross Edward Stinson and Linda Marie Burnside. 

Mary will be missed by her large, loud, loving family. She was a homemaker who loved to read, sew and crochet. During WWII she worked in a box factory and a canning factory. Mary volunteered in the hospital nursery, was PTA president and was active with after school programs including Girl Scouts. Mary loved to travel around the country to visit members of her family, even traveling to her parents’ hometown in Sicily. During her last thirty years she lived primarily with her daughter Kathy Brown in Lafayette, Georgia. She loved the farm, the cows and often talked about the mule and trail rides they went on. In the last few days of her life it was important to her to be with her family and on the farm. In an interview with NPR, Mary said she wanted to be remembered for being the grandma that always put two dollars in birthday cards. Mary passed away surrounded by many members of her family.

Surviving family include children Dorothy (Tommy) Stinson of Florisant, CO; Lou Jean Doheney of Stuart, FL; Richard (Trang) Burnside of Henderson, NV; Kathy (James) Brown of LaFayette, GA; Robert (Diane) Burnside of Alpharetta, GA; Brenda (Milton) Moore of Clarksville, TN; 21 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and 25 great-great grandchildren. 
Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday November 9, 2017 in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Brother David “Slim” Dorsett and Father John with St. Gerard Catholic Church officiating.

Interment in Mt. Olive Cemetery on Lookout Mtn.

Pallbearers are Michael King, David King, Dennis King, Milton Moore, Mike Ford, and Matthew Brown.

Honorary pallbearers are Greg Stinson, Cory Zettler, Chris McDivitt, Sean McDivitt, Jacob Stinson, Michael Burnside, James AC Brown II, and Brent Moore.

Visitation from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Edward “Eddie” Lebron Wint Sr., age 65, of LaFayette passed away Tuesday, November 07, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hillary Wint and Mildred Brown Wint; brothers, Hillary Wint, Billy Wint, Bobby Wint, and Johnny Fairbanks.

He is survived by his wife, friend, and companion of 48 years, Brenda Wint of LaFayette; sons, Matt Wint of LaFayette and Rev. Eddie (Diane) Wint Jr. of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Brandon McDonald and Matthew A. Wint; sisters, Bonnie Fairbanks of Resaca, GA, Pat Smith and Sue Johnson both of LaFayette; brothers, David Wint of OK, Henry Wint of Cartersville, GA, and Freddie Wint of LaFayette; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service 2 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Rock Spring Cemetery with Rev. Edward Wint Jr. and Rev. Beaver Robertson officiating.

Kevin Jackson Hopkins, age 46, of LaFayette passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017. He worked for Shaw Industries for 26 years. Kevin was devoted to his family and loved them dearly. Known for his wheeling and dealing, he was loved by everyone.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Hopkins and Peggy Adams Hopkins.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Dee Hopkins of LaFayette; daughters, Angel (Jeremy Wallace) Brown, Paige Hopkins, and Cherish (Aaron Ackerman) Hopkins all of LaFayette; grandchildren, Hunter Barrett and Emily Barrett; sister, Jennifer (Jacob) Lawrence of LaFayette; brother, Randy Hopkins of LaFayette; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service 2 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2017 in Crest-Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Clay Rowlette, Jessie Scott, Steven Strickland, Benny Scott, Justin Lawrence, and Isaac Lawrence.

CHARLES  “CHARLIE”  MARTIN   HUGGINS, age 39, of LaFayette passed away  Thursday, November 09, 2017.

Charlie was owner and operator of Grass Master Lawn Care Service.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of LaFayette, where he enjoyed singing in the church choir and serving as a deacon and R.A. leader.   Charlie was an outdoorsman who enjoyed deer hunting and coaching the  Little Ramblers baseball team.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Waymond “Sonny” Huggins, and Annette Martin Huggins, and grandfather, Charlie Franks; father-in-law, and mother-in-law,  John and Lynda Andrews.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Christy Andrews Huggins; his twin boys, Jud and Sawyer Huggins; father,  Marty Huggins; mother Ruth (Johnny) Bass; brothers, Brad (Sarah) Huggins, and Ben Huggins; grandmother, Dorothy Franks; niece Anna Kate Huggins and nephew Andrew Huggins;  brother-in-law, Craig Andrews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral service 1 p.m.  Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of LaFayette with Dr. Warren Moorhead officiating.

Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

BARBARA  GAIL  CHRISTOL  YOUNG, age 70, of LaFayette passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017.

Preceded in death by her husband, Allen Young; and mother, Nell Hamby Christol.

Survived by father, William “Bill” Christol of Flintstone; daughters, Christol O’Neal of LaFayette, and Lori (Frank) Carr of Monroe, Ga.; son, Ben Chapman of Birmingham, AL.; sisters, Pat Fuquea, of Flintstone, Ga., and Lynn (Rev. David) Jessie of Rock Cave, W.V.; grandchildren, Fallon, Whitney, and Alex; five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside service 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Coulter Cemetery.

 Patrick Daniel Bunn, age 35 of Hull, Georgia (formerly of LaFayette, GA) passed away Saturday November 11, 2017.

Patrick graduated from LaFayette High School and The University of Georgia.  Patrick was named Mr. LaFayette High School for the class of 2000 and loved his classmates dearly.

He was a field service representative for Pilgrims Pride in Athens, Georgia for the past 11 years and a member at Union Baptist Church where he enjoyed being a member of the Men's Sunday School class.

Patrick was an accomplished outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting deer, turkey and all types of fishing. Patrick also enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his dog Cricket.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ovid and Vessie Bunn, and Ozer and Jean Daniel.

He is survived by his loving wife, Keri Bunn; son Braxton Bunn and daughter Braylee Bunn; parents Mike and Ann Bunn; brother Paul (Kelli) Bunn; niece Susanna Kate Bunn; nephews Taylor and Parker Bunn; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

No interment.

Visitation (2-3:45pm) and Memorial Service (4pm) on Wednesday November 15, 2017 at LaFayette First United Methodist Church, LaFayette, Georgia. Reverend Malcom Harris officiating.

BOYD LEE HARTLINE, of Cloudland, Ga., departed this life on Saturday, November 18, 2017.  He was at his home, surrounded by his family and loved ones.  Mr. Hartline was a lifelong resident of the Head River Community and a graduate of Northwest Georgia High School in Trenton, Ga.  Boyd was born July 15, 1964 in Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga., to his parents Luther and Wanda Hartline.  He has been an over the road truck driver most of his life and was employed by Swift Enterprises, based in Cleveland, TN. , U.S. Express recently inducted Boyd into the Million Mile Club, with an eight year accident free and safe driving record.

Boyd was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Rosie Bell Hartline and Albert and Pauline Chapman; mother-in-law, Lois Lou Betz Pence.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Teresa Bradley Hartline; son, B.J.  (Missy) Hartline; parents,  Luther and Wanda Hartline; sister, Loretta (Larry) Roper; brothers, Kenneth Hartline and Dennis (Janet) Hartline; brothers-in-law, Randy “ KoJack” Bradley, Duke Bradley, Herman (Patty) Bradley, and Richard (Renea) Bradley; and sister-in-law, Tammy Cooper; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 21st in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Hixon officiating.

Helen C. Gladden, age 88, of LaFayette passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of LaFayette and the Ellis-Walraven Sunday School Class. Helen retired with over 30 years of service as a switchboard operator for the CDC  in Atlanta, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Gladden and Maude DeBord Gladden; sister, Anne Hammontree; and brother, Max Gladden.

She is survived by her beloved nieces, Marsha (Bart) Carter, Jennifer (Dewayne) Hardin both of Chickamauga, and Dana (Tommy) Hitchcox of Chattanooga, and family.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2017 in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Dr. Todd Gaddis officiating.

Interment in LaFayette City Cemetery.

MARVIN AARON  SPURLIN, age 67, of Rock Spring passed away Friday, November 24, 2017.



Marvin is a member of The Gathering Church in Ringgold and was retired from Tuftco Corporation in Chattanooga with 45 years as a machinist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Clyde Spurlin and Lucy Colbert Spurlin; granddaughter, Sarah Siobhan Kaitlin Hinkle; and his brother, Charles “Eddie” Spurlin.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sheila Spurlin; daughter and son-in-law, Heather (David) Hinkle; grandchildren, Emily and Anna Hinkle;  sisters, Polly Tucker, Becky Dunn, Cathy Lewis, Virginia Williams, and Martha Barrett; several nieces and nephews also survive.
 



A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 2 p.m. at The Gathering Church 2501 Pine Grove Rd. Ringgold, Ga. 30736, with Dr. Darrell Henry and Rev. Mike Woody officiating.



Family will gather with friends at the church from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Sunday.

Laura Beth Shattuck, 93, of LaFayette passed away peacefully Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Cozy Manor Assisted Living Home.

Laura Beth and her husband Frank owned Shattuck Farm and Home Center in LaFayette. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Watson and Jewell Houston, husband, Frank Shattuck Jr, son, James Shattuck, granddaughter, Nicki Shattuck, nephew,  Mike Smith and brother-in-law, Glen Smith.

She is survived by sons Maurice (Harriet) Shattuck, Phil (Anita) Shattuck of LaFayette GA; David (Susan) Shattuck of Cleveland, GA; daughter, Elizabeth (Steve) Bridges of Canton, GA ; daughter-in-law, Jan Shattuck of LaFayette, GA; grandchildren Jeff, Jason, Will, Cole and Brandon Shattuck, Steven, Will and Laura Bridges, Jenny Caheely, Jessica Adams and Ashlee Bradley and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Susie Smith of Minneapolis MN. Nieces and nephews also survive her.

Service will be held at Wallis Wilbanks Chapel, Monday, November 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kenny Roach officiating.  Visitation to begin at 10 a.m.

Interment will be in LaFayette Cemetery.

 James Harrison Neal passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in West Armuchee Valley, LaFayette, Georgia on January 9, 1923.  He is survived by his loving wife, Audrey Millican Neal of 69 years, son, J. Lamar Neal (Susan),  daughter, Melanie Pinion Neal (Ragan), 2 grandsons, James Robert Neal (Tracy), Benjamin Barrett Neal; 2 great grandchildren, James Robert Neal, Jr, and Ragan Jewel Neal; sister, Ezma Pettyjohn, several nieces and nephews.

During WWII, he served in the United States Army in the Medical Core for 4 years.   James worked for the Dupont Corporation for 30 years.  He loved fishing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He spent many hours telling stories of his childhood and time overseas. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle Storey Neal and A.P. Neal, Sr.; brothers, A.P. Neal, Jr., Frank P. Neal, and Windom Neal; sisters, Sarah Ford, Muriel Maxey, and Ruth Neal.

Visitation will be held at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Summerville, Georgia on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 2-4 pm.  Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 pm.   Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery. Pastors:  Joel Miller and Judge Clarence Shattuck.

Honorary Pallbearers:  The Sam McConnell Sunday School Class, Hixson United Methodist Church.

Doris “Dot” Hall Baker, age 91, of LaFayette passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017. Dot loved to sing and, and in her teen years, could be heard on the local radio station WLFA singing with her sister; she also sang with her daughter and niece in the gospel group “Jenerations”.  Dot was a 1943 graduate of LaFayette High School and attended Bob Jones College in Cleveland, Tennessee, and Shorter University in Rome, Georgia. She was a teacher for Linwood Elementary School and for Lee School located south of LaFayette. She worked 25 plus years for Dixie Savings Stores where she was an accounts receivable cashier. She served as Queen Mother of her Red Hat Society group and as president of the Senior Neighbors in LaFayette and was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. Dot found beauty in everything she saw, never met a stranger, and was a big fan of John Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William “Bill” Baker; six sisters; and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughters, Billie Baker and Jana Baker Heiskell both of LaFayette; son, Thomas “Tom” Baker of Ooltewah, Tenn.; grandchildren, Kristin Cooper, Amber (Jay) Ellis, and Devin Baker; great grandchildren, Ethan Cooper and Lucy Ellis; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services 12 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017 in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastors Jeremy Smith and Terry Burns officiating.

Interment to follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2 p.m.

Pallbearers are Tom Baker, Jay Ellis, Greg Arnold, Corey Arnold, Andy Arnold, and Joe Littlejohn.

Wilma Baker Daniels, age 77, of Chickamauga was born on July 13, 1940 to Pauline and Stanley Baker and  passed on November 29, 2017 at an area hospital. Wilma Daniels played a big role in getting the Lamar Simmons Veterans Park rededicated to the Young Men of Walker County. She was known as Granny to many and Aunt Granny Wilma to some. She was a beloved mother, friend and neighbor. Wilma was a faithful member of The Church of Christ at Lookout Hall.


Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Daniels Sr.; her father, Stanley Baker and her mother, Pauline Crisp Baker; her beloved sister, Nan Baker; and her son, Cecil Daniels Jr.

Wilma has two daughters Dr. Lisa Gail Daniels of Auburn Ala., and Debbie (Justin) Daniel of Ft. Payne Ala.; two grandsons, Josh (Lydia) Daniel and Jared (Lindsay) Daniel; four great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; two brothers, George (Marilyn) Baker and Stanley (Barbara) Baker both of LaFayette GA; one sister, Elsie (Bennie) Colley of Henagar Ala.; and many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 4 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel.

No interment.

Visitation Friday from 5 – 9 p.m.  and Saturday from 2 p.m. until hour of service at the funeral home.

Danny “Roscoe” Richard Webb, age 71, of LaFayette went home to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, November 30, 2017 after a long and valiant fight with cancer. He fought a good fight and kept the faith. Roscoe was a 1965 graduate of LaFayette High School and a big fan of Georgia Tech football.  He was a member of the LaFayette Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shari Webb Rogers; son, Danny Richard Webb Jr.; parents, Grady Webb and Ruth Smith Webb; brothers, Roger Webb, Grady Webb Jr., and Stanley Burl Webb; sisters, Mabel Starnes and Jo Baker.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gayle Perry Webb; grandchildren, Brody Rogers and Grayson Rogers; sisters, Vickie Scott, Ruby Patterson and Otchie Nicholson; very special friends, Steve and Diana Little; son-in-law, Gary Rogers; his dog, Cooper; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.

 Archibald Robertson Fortune II (P.D.) age 78, passed away peacefully at his home in LaFayette on Monday, October 23, 2017 after fighting Alzheimer’s disease for several years.

Archie was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on June 20, 1939 to Archibald Steele Fortune and Sarah Enloe Fortune. He graduated from the Baylor School in Chattanooga and attended the University of Georgia where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.

He was a fifth generation hosiery manufacturer, working first with his Father at the LaFayette Hosiery Mill and then as President and CEO of Fortune Mills.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ellen Fortune Cenzalli.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janice Haley Fortune; daughter, Corinne Elizabeth Fortune of Hanover, New Hampshire; son, Archibald Steele Fortune II (Jennifer) of Marietta, Georgia; grandchildren, Spencer Barnes Bernard and Henry Fortune Bernard of Hanover, New Hampshire, and Nancy Marie Fortune of Marietta, Georgia; sisters, Eddie (Alex) Lowe of Roswell, Georgia, and Sally (Arthur) Berry of Sandy Springs, Georgia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dick Cenzalli of Anderson, South Carolina, Joan and Dan Frierson of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, Judy and Jerry Parichy of Beaufort, South Carolina, and Jim and Margaret Anne Haley of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the LaFayette Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ken Waddell officiating.

A reception celebrating his life will be held at the LaFayette Golf Club from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. following the service.

Interment will be in the LaFayette City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

A heartfelt and special thanks goes to his devoted caregiver, Jean Jones, and much gratitude for the love and support of Jean, as well as that of Susie Marsh, Jay Jay Adams, and Tanya West and the wonderful and caring staff of Hearth Hospice of Georgia.

Sandra “Nanny” Faye Fortune Snider, age 68, of LaFayette passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017. She was a lifelong member of the LaFayette Church of God.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Mike Snider; sons, Scott (Mary) Snider, Dewayne (Pam) Snider, and Jeffery (Angie Avalos) Snider all of LaFayette; 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Glenn Fortune of Ill., Hoyt Fortune of TX., and Thomas Fortune of Trion, GA.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the LaFayette Church of God with Pastor Josh Edwards officiating.

Interment in LaFayette City Cemetery.

Visitation 6 – 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Nellie Emmaline Bailey, age 95, of LaFayette passed away Friday, December 1, 2017. She was a faithful  witness of Jehovah and Jesus Christ her entire life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Serena Lou Bailey; father, John William Bailey and sister, Cynthia Finchum.

She is survived by one niece, Judy Moore of Cowan, Tenn.; and five great nieces and  nephews; several cousins in Ala., and Tenn.; and her Spiritual F
amily here in LaFayette Also survive.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses; 457 Roadrunner Blvd. LaFayette, Ga. 30728, with James Saunier officiating.

Interment has taken place in the LaFayette City Cemetery.

Mrs. Barbara Hensley Lowe, age 77, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away Tuesday December 5, 2017 after an extended illness.

Mrs. Lowe was born and raised in LaFayette, Georgia and lived most of her life in Cobb County.  She was born on October 10, 1940, to the late Mr. Walter A. Hensley and Mrs. Bertha White Hensley.  She was also preceded in death by her husband John E. Lowe, infant daughter Cynthia Renee Lowe, teenage son William Scott Lowe, and her brother James R. Hensley.

Mrs. Lowe was a 1958 graduate of LaFayette High School.  She attended North Georgia College and finished there in 1962 with her MRS.   Mrs. Lowe and her husband went on to have four children and lived most of their life in Cobb County.  In 2001,  Mrs. Lowe retired from the Cobb County School System.  In her more than 20 years of service,  she spent most of her time in the Central Office working with the Special Education Department.  During her retirement she was able to sail the Caribbean, visit Europe and travel to the Holy Lands with her beloved pastor the Rev. Johnny Hunt.
Mrs. Lowe was a devout follower of Christ and longtime member of First Baptist Church Woodstock where she sang in the choir and participated in the annual Christmas Pageant.  She loved to sing and socialize with the Joyful Women, her ladies Sunday School class.  They grew to love each other as sisters in Christ,  and remember her as someone who overcame difficult circumstances without ever harboring any bitterness.  She was just a sweet lady and caring friend using her experience with hardships to minister to others.

Survivors include her daughter Dr. Susan Sockwell, and son-in-law Dr. Dean Sockwell, Dahlonega;  daughter Ms. Elizabeth Berg, Marietta;  grandchildren  Zachary Kirkman and Ciara Berg, Marietta; Mackenzie Sockwell, Johnny Sockwell and Noah Sockwell, Dahlonega;  sister Ms. Jo Hensley and brother Mr. Harold Hensley and Mrs. Frances Hensley, LaFayette; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

 Mrs. Lowe was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will always be adored by her family.  The verse she leaves us with is from Proverbs 3:5-6,  "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."  She lived this in her life, and it was a life well lived. 

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home in LaFayette, GA. The Rev. Robert Patterson will officiate.  Interment will follow in LaFayette City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12 - 2 PM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Raymond Edward McGarvey age 55 of Chattanooga, TN passed away Tuesday November 21, 2017. 

Raymond graduated from Ooltewah High School and was a member at Silverdale Baptist Church. 

Raymond was an outdoorsman who enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. Raymond also enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his dog Buddy.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond and Grace McGarvey, and Cicero and Stella Green.

He is survived by his sons, Joshua McGarvey, Matthew (Shelby) McGarvey and Timothy McGarvey; Grandchildren Mason and Baylee McGarvey; Parents Joe and Lorena McGarvey; Brother Billy McGarvey; Sister Debbie Crawley; Niece Alison Chippoletti; Nephew’s William (Amanda) McGarvey and Aaron Chippoletti.

A family gathering will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2017 followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12 p.m. in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel.

Private burial of cremains will take place in Naomi Cemetery.
